Exhibitors & Shopping Great deals and fabulous food can be found in Keizer along River Road and at Keizer Station. During the main Iris Festival days in May there are even more marvelous opportunities for shopping and munching. Exhibitors from around the Pacific Northwest set up displays and booths along Wittenberg Lane and the Fun Center located at Keizer Rennaissance Inn. You’ll find plenty to see, do, and sample. Home & Garden Show presented by US Bank—May 16-18. A “green” home can mean more than just painting the living room with the newest shade of sage. Solar panels and reflective window tinting are just a few examples of the products and services found at the US Bank Home & Garden Show at this year’s Keizer Iris Festival. What’s more, decorative home, garden, patio, and landscape goods will be on display. Community Breakfasts The Iris Capital of the World welcomes everyone during the month of May to start out a few special days with a good meal and a taste of our community spirit. Beginning with the Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast on the National Day of Prayer (May 1st) and the Volunteer Firefighters hosting a Mother’s Day Breakfast (May 11th) the good times continue on Parade Day (May 17th) with the Faith Luthern Parade Day Breakfast. In the Big Tent the Willamette Valley Chamber Greeters (May 16th) and a Fellowship Breakfast (May 18th) pancakes, ham, eggs, and hometown appreciation will be served up with lots of smiles. Kick –Off Party presented by Fidelity National Title Co. May 15. Great times and great Chicken BBQ are always in store at the Iris Festival Kick-Off Party. Held in the Big Tent this traditional event is local favorite. Kids practice all year round their hula-hooping just to see if they can win a prize.
