| COMMUNITY BREAKFASTS - THROUGHOUT MAY - The Iris Capital of the World welcomes everyone during the month of May to start out a few special days with a good meal and a taste of our community spirit. Beginning with the Mayor's Prayer Breakfast on the National Day of Prayer (May 6th) and the Volunteer Firefighters hosting a Mother's Day Breakfast (May 16th) the good times continue on Parade Day (May 22nd) at McNary High School Band Boosters Breakfast. In the Keizerfest Tent the Willamette Valley Chamber Greeters (May 21st) and a Fellowship Breakfast (May 23rd) bring pancakes, ham, eggs, and hometown appreciation. Join us as serve up a great meal with lots of smiles.
KICK-OFF PARTY - MAY 20 - Sponsored by Fidelity National Title Company of Oregon - Great times and a great Chicken BBQ are always in store at the Iris Festival Kick-Off Party. Held in the Keizerfest Tent this traditional event is a local favorite. Kids practice all year round their hula-hooping just to see if they can win a prize. Dads and daughters dance, grandparents laugh, and everybody will enjoy meeting old and new friends. FUN CENTER STREET FAIRS - May 21-23 Sponsored by Keizer Station - Great deals and fabulous food can be found in Keizer along River Road and at Keizer Station. During the Iris Festival days there are even more marvelous opportunities for shopping and munching. Exhibitors from around the Pacific Northwest set up displays and booths at the Keizer Station Fun Center.
