IRIS FESTIVAL GOLF TOURNAMENT & GOLF BALL DROP May 21 - Four person teams may register in advance to play in this traditional event of the Iris Festival. Held at McNary Golf Course, the shot-gun start time is at 11:00 am. Players will be treated to plenty of food and treats while enjoying the 18 hole course. After the tournament play make plans to celebrate at the Awards Ceremony.

5K & KIDZ3000 RUN/WALK - May 22 - springtime is perfect weather in the Willamette Valley to lace up the running shoes. Avid and amateur runners and walkers enjoy the primarily flat and fast course of the Iris 5K Run/Walk. The course begins and ends next to Keizer Korner in the Schoolhouse Square parking lot the morning before the Iris Parade. Spectators waiting for the parade will cheer on participants as they go "out and back" on the main corridor of the city, River Road N.

Kids will enjoy the get fit challenge of the KIDZ3000 and help other kids with Cystic Fibrosis. A new fun event will start like the 5K on River Road, however, the shorter distance will provide for youthful and energetic runners & walkers.

MAYOR’S PET PARADE - May 22 - Come join the fun with Keizer Mayor Lore Christopher and her dog as they lead the Pet Parade. The close to one mile march is a favorite for pet owners, kids, and beginner walkers. The 9:40 am starting line is at the corner of River Road and Manbrin, in front of the West Coast Bank in Keizer. Participants head north along the parade route being cheered and greeted by spectators waiting to watch the Iris Festival Parade.

HALF MARATHON & 10k - May 23 - These favorite courses are a treat for runners and walkers! The start time is at 8am at Keizer Station Iris Festival Fun Center. Participants head out and back through Willamette Valley farmland and the beautiful fields of irises.

FAMILY BIKE RALLY & RODEO - May 23 - Active festival fun continues on Sunday when biking enthusiast rally at the Keizer Station Fun Center. Participants in the Bike Rally can choose from two routes; five mile course that is easy and flat or a more challenging 15 mile course. Both concluded back at the Keizer Station Fun Center where a secured bike corral is available for participants to store their bikes and then enjoy a pancake breakfast in the Big Tent or the Bike Rodeo, carnival rides, and entertainment.
