RIVER ROAD & KEIZER EVENTS
Iris Festival Golf Tournament - May 20

Four person golf teams may register in advance to play in this traditional and memorable event on the Iris Festival schedule. Presented by Quick Lane Tire & Auto Center the Iris Festival Golf Tournament is held at supporting sponsors McNary Golf Course, located at 155 McNary Estates Dr N. The shot-gun start time is at 11:00 am. Players will be treated to plenty of food and treats while enjoying the beautiful 18 hole course . Iris Parade - May 21
Everyone loves a parade! This year's theme "Made of Magic" will be portrayed by the colorful floats and enchanting entries of the Keizer Iris Parade presented by Valley Credit Services. Lively marching bands, talented youth performers, proud equestrians, shinny classic cars, and thousands of spectators make this a not-to-be-missed annual event. Come early for the best seat! Parade begins at the corner of Lockhaven and at 10:30 am and proceeds south along to Glynbrook.


Mayor's Pet Parade - May 21
Come join the fun with Keizer Mayor Lore Christopher and her dog as they lead the Pet Parade presented by Keizer Veterinary. The close to ½ mile march is a favorite for pet owners, kids, and beginner walkers. The 9:40 am starting line is at Copper Creek Mercantile in. Participants head north along the parade route being cheered and greeted by spectators waiting to watch the Iris Festival Parade.


Golf Ball Drop & Demo May 21
After the Iris Parade the fun continues with plenty of activities for golf enthusiasts. Willow Lake Golf Center & Driving Range, 6020 Windsor Island Rd N, will be hosting demos, clinics, contests, and at dusk turning on the new lights for the driving range. Come watch as the KYKN 1430 Helicopter flies in to pick-up the pre-sold golf balls for the Golf Ball Drop. The lucky holder of the ticket that matches the number on the golf ball that is closest to the target hole after being dropped by the hovering helicopter will win the 50/50 raffle. KEIZER STATION FUN CENTER ACTIVITIES

Carnival & Midway - May 19-22
There is more excitement and thrills at the carnival and midway presented by OSU Federal "Your Community Credit Union" located at Keizer Station. Try your skills at the games and maybe win a stuffed animal, take a wild ride and let the wee ones enjoy the more mild floating canoes. There is something for everyone at the carnival whether you are a kid or a kid at heart! Family night is on Thursday, May 19 pick-up a discount coupon at OSU Federal branch in the Keizer Safeway.

Crown the Hound - May 20-22
Bring your pet and come join us at Crown the Hound 2011 located at the Keizer Station Fun Center. This exciting event will help support the Keizer Police Department K9 Unit. Enter your pet into one of our exciting competitions sponsored by Petco. Watch the police canine's as they demonstrate their ability to keep us safe and take a bite out of crime.

Is your pet the next Diva next door? Show off your pet's style and swagger in order to be named The Best Dressed Pet!

Iris Classic Car Show - May 21
Classic autos and trucks will be on display at the Keizer Station Fun Center on Saturday, May 21 from 10am to 3pm. Pre 1940 and every decade through 1980 are the auto categories. Trucks are classified pre 1940 and every twenty years through 1980. Come meet and talk with the owners of these classics and hear the stories of how they were shined up and built to perfection. Family Bike Ride - May 22
Active festival fun continues on Sunday when biking enthusiast rally at the Keizer Station Fun Center. Cyclist can choose from two routes; five mile course that is easy and flat or a more challenging 15 mile course. Both conclude back at the Keizer Station Fun Center where a secured bike corral is available for participants to store their bikes and then enjoy a pancake breakfast in the Big Tent, carnival rides, and entertainment.

Biker's Poker Run - May 22
The tent is a gathering place for bikers getting ready for a great ride through neighboring communities. Participants can check-in for breakfast and the second annual KeizerFest Poker Run in the tent located at Keizer Station. Receive your first card and a map to the route which will bring you back to the tent for entertainment and the best poker hand awards. Registration
