Iris Parade—May 17 Sponsored by The Bank of the Cascades—Everyone loves a parade! Especially with this year’s theme of “Act of Kindness” the colorful floats are sure to be even more special. Though impressively creative, floats are just the beginning. Lively marching bands, talented youth performers, proud equestrians, shinny classic cars, and thousands of spectators make this a not-to-be-missed annual event. Come early for the best seat! Parade begins at the corner of Lockhaven and River Road at 10:30 am and proceeds south along River Road to Glynbrook. Family Stage & Kids Activities—May 17-18 Fun times for all are  back again with new events and activities.  What’s more kids, parents and grandparents will be amused and entertained by groups performing on the Family Stage. Come see what is new this year as participants and spectators enjoy the activities rain of shine. 

Carnival & Midway—May 16-18 There is more excitement and thrills at the Funtastic Carnival. Try your skills at the games and maybe win a stuffed animal, take a wild ride and let the wee ones enjoy the more mild floating canoes. There is something for everyone at the carnival whether you are a kid or a kid at heart!

“I’m All In” Texas Hold’em Tournament—May 16 Save the date! Here is your chance to win at a Texas Hold’em Poker Tournament on Friday, May 17th. Seating is limited so sign-up now to reserve a seat. Amateurs, home gamers, Women, Men, ALL over 18 years old are welcome! Check-in at 5:30 pm with play beginning at 6:00 pm in the Showcase Arena, inside Keizer Renaissance Inn. Advance registration is recommended.

Iris Festival Bingo—May 16 Enjoy a fun-filled afternoon of Iris Festival Bingo at Willametter Lutheran Retirement Community. (Located at 7693 Wheatland Rd. N) Prizes will be awarded and refreshments are provided at no charge to the community.

Outlaw Machines Classic Car Show—May 17 Keizer Elks Club and the Keizer Lions Club are hosting the Outlaw Machines Classic Car Show this year. Food and entertainment are also on the schedule. Come out to both locations on Cherry Ave and Manbrin from 10AM to 5PM to see your favorite cars on display.
