Dance and listen to an array of entertainment at the Keizer Iris Festival. Two stages will host top forty, country, parrot head, and big band sounds throughout the four day schedule of entertainment.
The Main Stage, presented by Uptown Music is located in the Big Tent on the parking lot of Keizer Renaissance Inn, 5188 Wittenberg Lane. A large dance floor and a beer & wine bar are traditionally known as Keizerfest in the later hours for the over twenty-one crowd. By day the Big Tent is open to all ages to come listen to music and enjoy a festival meal at ample picnic table seating.
The Family Stage, presented by Salem Electric, is located next to the Fire Hall. Plenty of festival fun surrounds the stage as local performers sing, dance, and play. |

Joe Shinkle and 99West
In 2004, Joe opened up as a member of a backup band for a "Young Guns" participant for Reba McEntire and Neal McCoy at Country Thunder in Arizona. Also at the show were Chris Ledoux, Travis Tritt, Gary Alan, Phil Vassar and Trace Adkins. From there Joe knew what his calling was. After several years of hard work, he realized he had to move to Nashville to make his dream come true.
Joe quit his job at Western Oregon University, loaded up his car and headed South to chase his dream. While doing a show in Nashville one day, he met up with producer Jeffrey Vice, president of Red Tin Roof Music and Cat Creek Publishing, and Jaime LaRitz from Dog Ear music. He soon recorded his newest cd, "When the Dust Settles." Since then he has also been performing in and around the Nashville area as well as back home in Oregon with a group he formed called Joe Shinkle and 99West.

SATURDAY, MAY 17
KEIZERFEST 9:00 PM—12:30 AM
5 Guys Named MOE
Over the last twenty years, we’ve developed a group that is as much fun to watch as it is to listen and dance to. 5 Guys Named Moe is patterned after the larger, visually creative bands of the 1960’s which used horn sections and back-up vocalists. The resulting full sound—combined with a variety of dynamic lead vocalists and their unique visual energy—sets 5 Guys Named Moe apart from other dance bands and can best be described as the “Ultimate Dance and Show Band”. A 5 Guys Named Moe performance includes:
12 entertainers on stage, including a four-piece horn section, groovin’ rhythm section, back-up vocalists and as many as 6 lead singers throughout the event!
Retro-style costumes and choreography creating visual impact and excitement!
